  6. FetchRefs is (yet another) utility to quickly look up stuff in  AutoDocs
  7. and include files. You run an ARexx script (typically assigned to a key)
  8. from your editor when the cursor is at an unknown  word.  Then  you  get
  9. another  window with an AutoDoc or include file reference that describes
  10. this word (if it IS described at all, of course).

  12. With support for both AutoDocs and C, Assembler,  and  E  include  files
  13. most  programmers  should  not  need  feel overlooked. ARexx scripts are
  14. provided for well known editors:  AmokEd,  CygnusEd,  DME,  GoldED,  and
  15. TurboText. Due to the ARexx interface, support for other editors is only
  16. a new ARexx script away!

  18. Other advantages include wild card support, optionally case  insensitive
  19. search,  a  powerful  GUI  driven  index  file  generator,  support  for
  20. "TagList", "Tags" and "A" postfixes to function names and a window  with
  21. a  list  of  possibilities  if  you  search  for  something that several
  22. references match.

  24. An Amiga with Kickstart 2.04 or higher is required. A harddisk and  some
  25. RAM  is  suggested.  While both Triton and ReqTools is used for the GUI,
  26. only Triton is included.
